Week 2 Comes to a Close

I always like week 2 of school. Routines are set, expected behavior is known, and we get straight to work on learning all the new standards for 1st Grade! Below I posted some pictures of how we finished out the week. 
We played a fun round of spelling golf to review our words before our test. Lee & Lucy are the pros with their hole-in-one shots. 

Tylon shows his Bama football pride. The PE department is selling Auburn & Alabama tattoos for $1, and Wetumpka Indians tattoos for 50 cents. This money will be used to help fix playground equipment. 

To end the week, we spent the last 30 minutes of the day doing "Fun Friday". This is the reward for those who maintained an average of 4 or less on their behavior chart for the week. They are allowed to have Super Snack and play educational games. They LOVED this time and I hope it motivates them to continue to work hard on having great behavior! I had all but 2 students able to participate this week, next week we are working on 100% participation in Fun Friday!
